Annaleigh Amanda Ashford is an American actress singer and dancer. She started her Broadway career with musicals like Wicked, Legally Blonde, and Hair. It was also the time that a Tony Award was given to her for the character of Essie Carmichael from You Can't Take It With You. Annaleigh Ashley, Tony Award winning actor and actress, has worked with actors, directors, and directors on both screen and stage throughout all of her career. Ashford will be next starring opposite Kumail Nanjiani in the Hulu exclusive production Welcome to Chippendales from creator Robert Siegel premiering on November 22. Ashford is in the process of completing production on Searchlight Pictures' horror thriller Dust with Sarah Paulson and Ebon Moss-Bachrach. In the form of a Hulu Original, the film will become available on Disney DTC's digital platforms. Ashford is set to be back in 2023. He will be starring opposite Josh Groban at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre in this revival Stephen Sondheim Sweeney Todd. The show will be conducted by Thomas Kail and produced by Jeffrey Seller, the team that created Hamilton.
