Sadie Amara Calvano is an actress from America that has gained fame for portraying Violet Plunkett in the CBS sitcom "Mom". Calvano is originally from California and initially was attracted to gymnastics. In the end, however, Calvano determined to pursue a career in acting. Her first appearance on screen was in 2010, in an Episode of CBS's 'NCIS. Her first big-screen appearance came one year later with the biographical film of crime drama 'J Edgar'. Through the years, she established herself as one of the most prestigious actors of today's young. She was nominated in the year 2011 for a Young Artist Award in the category of Best Performance for Young Actresses between 11 and 15 for her work in NCIS. In 2013, as the role of a guest on Disney XD's "Kickin' It comedy show and received a second nomination for an Young Artist Award. Calvano was part of the cast of Mom for its first three seasons, and also appeared numerous times during the fourth. Her performance in 'Mom" brought her the Gracie Allen Award as Outstanding Female Actor - Rising Star.
